David Barry Appointed COO of Flight Data Services

24 November 2010 – Fareham, UK: Flight Data Services has appointed David Barry as Chief Operating Officer, based at the company’s head office in the UK.

The move coincides with the growth of the company’s global operations.

David is formerly Flight Safety Manager for bmi and a City University (London UK) graduate with a Masters Degree with distinction in Air Safety Management. He brings expertise in all technical aspects of flight data management including the establishment of policies and protocols and the development of safety management systems and accident prevention programmes.

FDS CEO Dave Jesse said: “I am delighted that David has accepted my invitation to join the company. As well as strengthening our management team, his experience at bmi will ensure that a customer perspective is built into all that we do. David will take over the day-to-day operation of the company, allowing me to focus on future developments and long term strategy”.
