The partnership achieved a completion grade of ‘outstanding’ from the KTP panel of external assessors and was therefore eligible for this award. The judging panel consisted of the Regional Group, KTP Advisers and officials from the Technology Strategy Board and other funding organisations.

The KTP Associate Christopher Jesse said:

We are all thrilled to win this award. Over 300 KTP schemes were completed in the same year, to be amongst the top achieving schemes in the country is a great accolade to all the hard work and effort involved.

The joint research program developed Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques that will extract flight safety information from recorded flight data.
