Flight Data Services (FDS) began operations in 2000, when CEO and founder Dave Jesse became aware that, due to tightening international regulations, the aviation industry needed a global outsourced solution for Flight Data Monitoring (FDM).

Today, we pride ourselves on being a global leader in flight safety innovation. Our expert knowledge of flight data, aviation safety, and information technology is delivered to operators across five continents. Our qualified and experienced flight safety specialists include the highest ratio of analysts to aircraft in the industry.

In addition to our head office near Portsmouth in southeast England, we operate an American office in Phoenix Arizona. We export 87 percent of our FDM/FOQA products and services worldwide, monitoring about 1,000 flights per day.

We are a private company, and proud winners of a number of business awards, including Exporter of the Year in 2011 and both the National/International Trade prize and the Business of the Year honours in 2007.
