The 11th Flight Data Services (FDS) User Group Meeting was held at the Radisson SAS Airport Hotel in Oslo Norway on Wednesday 18th November 2009.
The meeting was hosted by FDS customer Norwegian Air Shuttle and as part of the meeting the delegates were given a tour of the Norwegian’s operational facilities visiting the hangar and terminal building.
In addition to presentations on FDS company and service developments, the meeting was addressed by guest speakers Mr Asgeir Nyseth, Accountable Manager of Norwegian Air Shuttle who gave a presentation on Norwegian’s milestones, Mr Kåre Halvorsen from Norwegian Accident Investigation Branch who explained how flight data is used in investigations and Hans Jørgen Bugge from Avinor who spoke about Integrated Runway Information System (IRIS).
FDS would like to thank Norwegian Air Shuttle and the guest speakers for their contribution to the meeting.
