Flight Data Services’ Customer airBaltic wins the ERA Airline of the Year Gold Award

airBaltic, a customer of Flight Data Services (FDS), was announced Airline of the Year 2009/2010 Gold Award winner by European Regions Airline Association (ERA) at the General Assembly of ERA in Interlaken, Switzerland on 8th October 2009.

The ERA Airline of the Year Award recognises excellence and encourages the highest standards across the intra-European air transport industry. airBaltic was chosen as the Airline of the Year for succeeding in developing a new business model from a point to point low cost operator into a network carrier, and building an important international hub in Riga during severe economic crisis in the Baltic markets.
