The 10th Flight Data Services (FDS) User Group Meeting was held at the Holiday Inn Portsmouth, UK on Thursday 21st May 2009.

In addition to presentations on FDS company and service developments, the meeting was addressed by guest speakers Mr Alan Puxley from Kenyon International who gave a presentation on Crisis Management and Mr Ian Herbert from Vistair who talked about Safety Management Systems.

The meeting’s focal point was the User’s confidential forum where FDS customers can discuss safety issues of common interest and how they have implemented Flight Data Monitoring within their organisation.

Before the meeting, FDS Consulting ran a two day Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) training course for new FDS customers and those who wanted to improve results obtained from FDM.
