Flight Data Services (FDS) have announced their appointment by Mesa Air Group to provide a full Flight Data Monitoring (FDM/FOQA) service.
John Flemming, Executive Vice President of FDS said:
We are delighted to welcome the Mesa Air Group to the FDS group of operators, the 1st American customer to date. I believe that FDM is the most powerful flight safety enhancing tool available today saving airlines millions of dollars through safety enhancement, training improvements, preventative maintenance and reduced insurance risk. Mesa Air Group through FDS will now have an objective view of risks rather than assumptions. This gives them the opportunity to see previously unknown risks, mitigate those risks and accomplish a critical step in safety management.
